Statement of Philosophy
We believe that every child is their own unique being that deserves the right to learn and grow in an environment where they feel safe, loved, heard and respected.
We respect and value the differences in each child as to her or his interests, developmental needs and personality.
We appreciate and value different family, cultural, racial and ethnic backgrounds.
We are committed to inclusion in our program and believe that children of all ability levels are entitled to the same opportunities for participation, acceptance and belonging in childcare.
We recognize that parents are the child’s first teachers and strive to build positive relationships and have open lines of communication with every family. Parents and teachers together can help the children develop to their full potential.
We believe in providing an environment where children can feel free to express themselves through daily positive adult and peer interactions.
We believe in teaching children to use kind words to express their feelings, develop independence and self-help skills, use manners, make choices, follow rules and respect each other.
We believe that every child learns and develops at their own pace, and that every child is capable of learning.
We believe children learn best through meaningful play experiences, positive guidance and hands-on activities.
Children construct knowledge as they play, explore, experiment and discover throughout the day.
Our preschool and toddler curriculums focus on social/emotional, physical, language & literacy, mathematics & reasoning, social studies, science, and creative arts.
At Lisa’s Wiggle Worms our goal is to build a foundation so that your child is ready for kindergarten and beyond.
A child's mind is constantly developing and growing.
The experiences they have as a child will shape the adult they will become in the future.
